Premises We Decorate
Commercial decorating is a different job to a house. The finish has to survive trolleys, chairs, cleaning regimes and a hundred pairs of hands a day — and the programme matters as much as the paint.
If the work is domestic rather than commercial, our interior painting in Guernsey page covers homes, and exterior painting in Guernsey covers render, masonry and roofline.
Offices & workspaces
Open-plan floors, meeting rooms, break-out areas and stairwells — decorated in evenings or phased floor by floor so desks stay in use.
Retail & showrooms
Fast turnarounds between trading hours, with scuff-resistant finishes on the wall lines that trolleys, stock and customers actually touch.
Hospitality & clubs
Bars, restaurants and function rooms redecorated around service, with washable coatings in kitchens, service corridors and WCs.
Community & public buildings
Halls, meeting rooms and corridors in hard-wearing white, cut in cleanly around dado rails, fire doors and radiators.
Landlords & managed property
Void redecoration between tenancies, communal hallways and rolling planned-maintenance repaints on a schedule you can budget for.
Industrial & back-of-house
Warehouses, plant rooms and stores in durable coatings, plus line-clean finishes on doors, frames and steelwork.
Working Around Your Trading Hours
Most commercial jobs in Guernsey fall into one of four working windows. We'll recommend the one that costs you the least downtime at survey stage.
| Working window | When we're on site | Best suited to |
|---|---|---|
| Out of hours | Evenings after close | Offices, retail units, salons |
| Weekends | Fri close to Mon open | Whole floors, receptions, showrooms |
| Phased | Zone by zone, in hours | Community centres, larger offices |
| Shutdown | Holiday closure periods | Schools, clubs, seasonal venues |
How a Commercial Job Runs
Site survey
A walk round with whoever runs the building: access, keys, alarm codes, fire doors, what has to stay open and what can be closed.
Programme agreed
A written schedule with dates, working hours and the order zones are tackled in — so you can tell staff and customers what to expect.
Controlled works
Sheeted, masked and signed where needed. Low-odour coatings where people are still in the building, and each zone reinstated before we leave.
